Vintage Handbags - better than classic cars

Hi, this is Mila and I have a confession - I am a little older than the other girls (although Kimberly keeps telling me I am acting as a sweet sixteen girl). And I don’t know if it the age but I can’t resist vintage handbags.

I have about 20 vintage handbags I consider my private collection. When my husband asks me why he can’t touch them, I compare them to a collection of classic cars. Each one of them has it’s story and I take care of them as if they were my children. In fact, I seldom take them out of my house.

Some of my friends my age are walking with their vintage designer purses outside like they were cheap replica handbags. They claim that nothing makes a statement like a classic vintage handbag.

My vintage handbags ? are from the 50s till the 70s. I just love these tiny designer handbags from the 60s - Tiny purses that come with mirrors, coin purses and special little touches.

My collection includes a non designer crocodile skin handbag, a vintage Chanel handbag, 2 vintage Gucci handbags, Dior bags and even a LV vintage handbag.

By the way, my friend Ann owns real vintage bag from the 19’s and early 20’s century. She has vintage bags by designers such as Morris Moskowitz and Koret.

Now, for the biggest question - where can you get vintage handbags and where can you get them for affordable price ? My answer has only one word - eBay.

Just look for vintage bags and you will see hundreds of amazing bags. You can find bargains but you will have to look carefully. You must take into account the eBay has the risk of replica handbags and fake ones. I don’t have the guts to buy vintage bugs at eBay.

But I like to window shop over there. Look at this adorable Vintage Dior :
