The Clutch or the Carry-All?

Gone are the days when there would be a single trend which did the rounds. The latest in hand bags show that there is a tug-of-war between the clutch and unpretentious carry-all and no one is sure who is winning. Top designers like Valentino are promoting the carry-all in both structured and un-structured styles with a smooth patent finish and are adding a bit of holiday cheer with a feminine looking bow in their latest Side Bow Duffle hang bag. If that looks attractive to you, check out the Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis Roxbury Drive and you know that this is not going to be an easy decision.
Both styles have their downsides (with the clutch being a pain to carry for long and the carry-all looking quite unattractive in a sophisticated setting) but boy! Do they look good when you match them with your outfit! So to keep it simple, we choose the one which is most useful. Yes, there was a time when women would choose their bags based on what they needed rather than how it looked and the battle between the oh-so-chic clutch and the lifesaver carry all seems to be using the same referee point to help you decide. If out for the day, take the carry-all (you will be spoilt for choice when choosing one) and in the evening the clutch would do just fine. It is just our luck that we torn between two such lovely styles of women’s accessories!
