Fashion has come of age! It’s not surprising then, to see the rage and hype over what’s in, and what’s out…what’s hot and what’s not on a daily basis. If you thought this was a concern of the stylish teen next door, think again! Everyone around is conscious, concerned and atleast wants to come closer to have a ‘rep’ of the latest in fashion to be stacked into their wardrobe. “And when one can’t afford to buy the luxuries, why not rent them,” this was perhaps the popular psyche which in the first place sparked off the revolution of ‘rent designer purses.’

Renting designer purses has grown into a phenomenon of its own. Most fashion gurus would agree to this and moreover it’s a growing market as well! If one browses the net there is a world full of bags available for rent. One could easily even rent new purses, or borrow them online.

Although the trend is recent, the online trade is surprisingly huge and boasts of a huge collection ranging from Louis Vuitton, BE&D, Gucci, Chanel, Coach, Fendi and lots more. One is taken aback completely, when one gets to witness the clash of demands sometimes of the same style of a particular purse or handbag, by the same label.

It snowballs into a laugh riot when one reads taglines like- Bag, Borrow or Steal painted all over the major sites that an interested party would come across. So the next time you rent or buy a bag, think twice…because as far as I can see where the fashion world is heading to…bags are your extended identity buddy!
